Broadway comes to BRIT
Georgia Stitt, renowned Broadway musical theatre composer and musical director, visited the BRIT School Musical Theatre department today to give a masterclass to all 140 post 16 students. She worked on songs with Year 13 students who are currently preparing for their higher education auditions.
Georgia has worked all round the world with some of the biggest names in contemporary musical theatre including her husband, Jason Robert Brown. She found time to come to the BRIT School ahead of her new show which she is performing in London later this month.
Georgia was a huge hit with the students. Kerry McGrandles, Assistant Director of Musical Theatre said “Georgia gave the students some really valuable advice today. She’s an inspirational musician and a great role model for our students.”
